porque si no la tienes, nunca vas a poder llegar a ser feliz ni hacer el trabajo
bien. Siempre cuando empiezas tienes tus sueños y tienes tus metas que quieres
llegar. Yo creo que las estoy viviendo ahora mismo, que han sido la apertura de
estos cuatro restaurantes en menos de dos años.
La latinidad viene completamente de que soy puertorriqueño.
El sabor latino para mi es lo importante porque es lo que me ha dado el paladar
que tengo.
Automáticamente al entrar a la cocina, me enamore del sentimiento de equipo y de
todo el mundo trabajando para un fin que es dar un servicio a un cliente que quiere
comer bueno.
Este es un hamigrach, hoja machi y tiene un lemon grass romesco, tiene una salsa de
lemon grass, y arriba tiene todos los ingredientes que tiene un romesco
tradicional, tomates rostizados, peppers, avellanas, y unos chips de ajo.
A mi me encanta Miami, porque creo que es perfecto para mi. Yo llegue acá hace 14
años y he tratado de vivir en otros sitios, viví en España, viví en Londres, he
estado en New York, Chicago.
Siempre que estoy en cualquiera de estos sitios, extraño Miami, me gusta la cultura
latina, me gusta que esta al lado de Puerto rico, me gusta la temperatura, me gusta
la playa, me siento en casa.

Bio
Before I was ever a translator, I was a language enthusiast and movie-lover. Cinema has the power to give us a glimpse into other cultures and worlds... but as we all know, nothing can ruin a great movie like a poor translation! This is what led me to audio-visual translation, and for the past 10 years I have striven to provide audiences with the best quality subtitles and dubbing scripts to enhance their movie-watching experience. This field of translation requires creativity and adaptability, as every project brings with it characters from different walks of life, new settings and time periods, language registers, local slang, wordplay, jokes, etc.
I translate from French, Spanish and Serbian into English. While my specialty and passion is audio-visual translation, I also have extensive experience in text translations spanning a wide range of fields.
Audio-visual:
For Softitler Canada (a division of Deluxe Digital Studios): Translation and editing of subtitles for feature films for DVD release and film festivals, DVD special features (cast interviews, Making ofs, etc.) and documentaries using Softitler software.
For The Kitchen: Subtitle translation and timing and dubbing script translation and timing using TranStation. Projects include feature films, cartoons, telenovelas, reality TV shows, the Latin Grammys (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014), trailers, news reports and documentaries. Recent translation projects include the Spanish feature film Las Brujas de Zugarramurdi, an entire season of the Mexican telenovela La Teniente, and the documentaries Violacion de un Sueno (Univision) and Trata de Mujeres (Discovery en Espanol).
