I had been in a private tutoring and managing a private school. From 1997 to 2010, I had been engaged in fieldwork in Papua New Guinea as a part of the worldwide Bible educational work, mainly traveling around many isolated remote areas. During the period in PNG, I mastered Tok Pisin, one of the official languages of PNG. After coming back home in 2010, I took on-line translation job training presented by a local company in Japan. Since April 2011, I have opened the translation office "naoTRANS" (nao-Honyakusha in Japanese) started translation work as a freelancer, taking advantage of the experiences of intermingling and working together with people in different background.
