In this study, 26 patients chronically infected with HCV were treated with 3 MU rIFN- three times per week subcutaneously. In a different cohort of 37 patients, we administered 6 MU rIFN- three times per week subcutaneously. Eighteen patients of this cohort were randomized to receive ribavirin (14 mg per kg of body weight, i.e., 900-1,200 mg) in two divided doses orally per day. Duration of treatment is scheduled for 12 months; the trials are ongoing. All patients were previously untreated, and the diagnosis of chronic Hepatitis C was based on elevated serum transaminase levels, histological examination, and the consistent detection of anti-HCV antibodies (third-generation assay) and HCV RNA. All patients were Hepatitis B surface antigen-negative and negative for the antibody to the human immunodeficiency virus type 1 and type 2. Blood samples were obtained 4 and 1 week before initiation of treatment and subsequently at days 0, 1, 3, 7, 14, 21, 28, and 56. Serum was prepared under a laminar flow bench and frozen at 80°C. ПАЦИЕНТЫ И МЕТОДЫ
В данном исследовании 26 больных с хронической инфекцией вируса гепатита С лечили рекомбинантным интерфероном альфа, который вводили по 3 МЕ подкожно 3 раза в неделю. В другой группе, состоящей из 37 больных, мы вводили рекомбинантный интерферон альфа по 6 МЕ подкожно 3 раза в неделю. Методом случайной выборки из этой когорты были отобраны восемнадцать пациентов для приема рибавирина (14мг / кг массы тела, т.е., 900-1,200 мг) по две раздельные дозы перорально в день. Продолжительность лечения согласно плану составит 12 месяцев, исследования продолжаются. Все пациенты ранее не получали никакого лечения, а диагноз хронического гепатита. С был основан на повышенных уровнях трансаминазы в сыворотке, гистологическом исследовании и постоянном обнаружении антител против вируса гепатита С (проба третьего поколения) и РНК вируса гепатита С. У всех пациентов был отрицательный ответ на поверхностный антиген гепатита В и на антитело к вирусу иммунодефицита человека типа1 и типа 2. My name is Natalia. I finished a specialized school with advanced learning of English language in Kazan.
Then I studied English and German at the State Linguistic University in Nizhny Novgorod. After graduating from this educational establishment I devoted all my life to Eng. language either translating or teaching it to students or combining both.
My working experience as a translator is as follows:
I worked at the Scientific-and-Research Institute of Physico-Technical and Radio-Technical Measurements at the department of scentific-and-technical information as a written translator (flowmeters of gas and oil, calibration, etc.)
My second place of work as a translator at the same department was a Scentific-and Production Association "Medphyspribor" ( different medical equipment and instruments, including stomatology - mostly patents and applications). At the same time I collaborated with "Intertext" (where I did translations from English into Russian in different fileds of science and knowledge).
From 1996 I work as a teacher of English at the Chair of Foreign Languages at the Kazan State Medical University. I teach medical English. Apart from teaching I translate medical literature from Russian into English and vice versa.
