Translation - English Demand for irrigation equipment has also increased among livestock ranchers, who are intensifying their forage production. "Many of the technologies used in agriculture are being adapted to livestock raising, as is the case with grain storage. The silo bag system for dry grain storage, which is common in agriculture because it is a practical and more economical way of storing grain on the farm itself, is being adapted to store silage in periods of drought, replacing the surface silo," explains João Gilberto Bento, coordinator of ExpoZebu Dinâmica, a machinery and equipment fair that will take place May 6–8 in conjunction with ExpoZebu 2015. According to Bento, another advantage of mechanizing livestock raising is that it offers an option for coping with the lack of skilled labor that ranchers currently face.

We see ourselves competing not only with traditional competitors, but also with cell phones, TVs, cars, etc., as the client’s disposable income is limited. Therefore, it is essential to continually show the cost/benefit. Innovation is not abstract. For us, it has three key elements:
a) Clear benefit that is easily identified by the consumer.
b) Benefit that is permanent (cannot be one-time use only).
c) Excellent cost/benefit for consumer and for the company, with a return that enables us to invest on a continual basis.
