The device brand name is PTCA Dilatation Catheter; the generic device name is PTCA balloon dilatation catheter.
II. Description
PTCA Dilatation Catheter is designed for
dilating stenotic atherosclerotic lesions in coronary arteries or
bypass grafts.
PTCA Dilatation Catheter has a balloon (dilating element) near the distal tip, which contains either one (1) or two (2) radiopaque marker bands depending on configuration.
Catheters with one (1) marker band represent the center of the balloon working length at nominal pressure while catheters with two (2) marker bands represent the edges of the balloon working length at nominal pressure. The proximal hub contains the balloon inflation port and the printing on the hub indicates the nominal balloon diameter and working length in millimeters (mm). 1.1 FLASH Devices
FLASH devices can be erased and reprogrammed electrically. This allows the same device to be used for prototype development, pilot programs and production. A further advantage of the electrically-erasable FLASH is that it can be erased and reprogrammed in-circuit, or by device programmers.
1.2 Quick-Turnaround Production (QTP) Devices
The company offers a QTP Programming Service for factory production orders. This service is made available for users who chose not to program a medium-to-high quantity of units and whose code patterns have stabilized. The devices are standard FLASH devices but with all program locations and configuration options already programmed by the factory. Certain code and prototype verification procedures apply before production shipments are available.
1.3 Serialized Quick-Turnaround Production (SQTPsm) Devices
The company offers a unique programming service where a few user-defined locations in each device are programmed with different serial numbers. The serial numbers may be random, pseudo-random or sequential. Serial programming allows each device to have a unique number which can serve as an entry-code, password or ID number.

I numeri di serie possono essere generati in maniera casuale, pseudo-casuale o sequenziale. Grazie alla programmazione seriale, ogni singolo dispositivo può disporre di un numero di serie unico che può essere utilizzato come entry-code, password o numero di identificazione.

I have graduated at the SSLMiT (Italian school for interpreters and translators) in Forlì. After graduation, I have held a Scholarship in Technical Writing and Technical Translation. I am now a freelance translator.
I am working with ALL the major CAT and localization tools, including TRADOS Studio 2011 and previous versions. I have extensive experience in the translation and writing of technical manuals, especially manuals for industrial machinery, but I have also worked with texts of different kind (catalogues, web pages, questionnaires etc.), and pertaining to the glass, oil, ceramics and semiconductors industries - among the others. My rates are usually 0.04-0.05 €/word (depending on technicality of text) for the English or French > Italian combinations, minus fuzzy match discounts.
