I am a commerce graduate and started my career as a translator in the year 2005. Initially I started working as junior translator with one of the esteemed translation house in India. Our company was mainly into Techincal Translation from Japanese to English and vice-a-versa in the fields of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Computer Software and Hardware.

After working with company for 6 months my performance was reviewed and I was promoted to senior translator position. I worked with the company for approximately one year and eighteen months. I was mainly given the translation work and also to proofread and edit the documents translated by junior translator. Formatting of the entire file and delivering the file in the format specified by the client was also my responsibility.

I strongly believe in self-motivation and delivering the job in time. According to me even if a person is not a specialist in the subject he/she is translating, one's command over the target and source language counts a lot. More than degree experience and quality of the work matters in end. Also how well you can expose yourself to the information available on tghe net is important.

I am working as freelance translator since 2006 on part time basis and have started working on full time basis since 2008. I am comfortable with documents related to Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Computer Software and Hardware and Finance as well for Japanese to English language pair.

Inspite of not having any credentials or membership of any translation organization, I can assure of best quality and in time delivery.
