Translation - English United States GDP increased 2.2 percent at an annualized quarterly rate during the first quarter of 2009 which accounts for its first positive variation since the second quarter of 2008. Further information shows that the American economy continued recovering during the fourth quarter. In this same sense, industrial production maintained a solid growth during this same period with an annualized quarterly rate of 7.0 percent (6.3 percent without considering motor vehicles and auto parts).
Consumption expenditure in the United States kept increasing at a moderate pace during the fourth quarter reflecting the slow recovery of disposable personal income and the weakness of the labor market. Another factor that kept consumption from growing was the tremendous loss of household net wealth. Even though in the second and third quarters of 2009 family patrimony recovered marginally, cumulated loss since mid-2007 increased around 12.6 billion dollars. , Analysts have also forecasted that households will continue improving their financial situation instead of increasing its expenditure, something that could maintain saving rates well above before crisis levels. Labor market on its side, has shown evidence of stabilization during the fourth quarter of the year, even though it holds an extremely weak status.
Companies, supported by their financial stability, have diminished their inventory clearance sales at the same time that their equipment and software expenditure begun showing signs of recovery during the fourth quarter of 2009. Regardless of this, the level of used capacity was still very low in the industrial sector. The real estate market also continued with its recovery pushed by the fiscal credit program for the acquisition of real estate.
English to Spanish: Adaptive Teaching Taxonomy General field: Science Detailed field: Education / Pedagogy
Source text - English Abstract
Recent research on the learning process has shown that students tend to learn in different ways and that they prefer to use different resources as well. Many teaching technology researchers agree on the fact that learning materials shouldn’t be a mere reflect of the teacher’s style, but that these should be designed for all kinds of students and their learning styles (Felder 1996). Even though they agree on the importance of applying these learning styles to the different learning systems, there are still various problems that need to be solved, such as matching the contents shown on class to the different learning styles of each individual student. The design of an adaptive taxonomy using the learning style categories described by Felder and Silverman to create a personalized teaching environment for each individual by selecting the appropriate teaching strategy and electronic media, is described in this article. The taxonomy implementation method is also described. Students are capable of learning and efficiently improving their learning process with such method. Today, a system using the designed taxonomy is being developed to test the efficiency and effectiveness of the student’s learning.

Bio
My name is Daniel Martinez and I´m from Mexico City. I learned English when I moved to Houston, Tx. when I was only 9 years old. I have a Bachelor degree on International Relations from the Universidad Iberoamericana, two Translation and Interpretation Diplomas (ITAM and Berlitz) and one Masters on Information Technology Management (ITAM).
Ever since I began translating when I was 18 years old I realized I had found my ideal job: one where you can be creative and learn many, many things on a daily basis. I´ve done several translation jobs as a freelancer at the same time that I´ve been preparing myself to have a better educational background. I can translate regarding many fields, but I wish to specialize on Information Technology since I have a Masters on that field.
Anyhow, please feel free to contact me. I´m sure we can do something together and start a great job relationship!
