I acquired a BA in Translation and Interpreting at Univeristat Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona, going on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Translation for Media in Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. My passion for languages and different cultures took me to live in London, in the UK, for seven years, where I worked for various translation companies as a translator, translator’s trainer and translation project manager. I now live in France where I work as a freelance translator and as a language and translation lecturer at the University of La Rochelle.

I have worked in the translation industry for more than ten years which puts me in an excellent position to understand my client’s needs. My priorities are to offer smooth communication and a high quality linguistic service while always meeting deadlines.

My experiences living in the UK and France have helped me hone my language skills but have also given me the cultural background necessary to carry out a good translation which cannot be achieved with an automatic tool such as Google translate.
