تأسّست هيئة الهلال الأحمر لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة في عام 1983 ونالت الاعتراف الدولي باعتبارها العضو رقم 139 في الاتحاد الدولي لجمعيات الهلال الأحمر والصليب الأحمر بتاريخ 27 أغسطس 1986.
تلعب الهيئة دوراً هامّاً جدا في العمل الإنساني والخيري محلياً ودولياً لتلبية حاجات الضعفاء والمنكوبين. ومن الميّزات التي تمتاز بها الهيئة، سرعة التواجد في قلب الحدث مهما كانت الظروف والمخاطر، ونشر مبادئ القانون الدولي الإنساني على أوسع نطاق، والسعي لبناء مجتمع صحي آمن وتحقيق السلام الاجتماعي بين أفراد المجتمع محلياً، وشعوب العالم دولياً.
Translation - English Emirati Red Crescent Movement
In 1983, The Red Crescent Movement of United Arab Emirates was established, on 27th of August 1986 gained international recognition as member No. 139 in the International Union of Red Crescent and Red Cross Societies.
The Movement plays a highly important role to meet the needs of weak and distressed people locally and internationally, some previliges of the Movement feature a quick presence at the heart of event no matter what hazards and circumstances are, spreading humanitarian and international law principles as wide as possible, striving to create a secure and healthy society, achieving social peace among community members locally , and among people of the world internationally.

Source text - Arabic لدبي أحد أكبر الاقتصادات نموا بالمنطقة على الرغم من أثار الأزمة الاقتصادية على الإمارة ومنذ الربع الأخير لسنة 2008 بدأت الأزمة الاقتصادية العالمية تلقي بظلالها على دبي، باعتبارها الإمارة الوحيدة الخليجية التي تأثرت بفعل هذه الأزمة و تمثلت في إيقاف العمل بالكثير من المشاريع الإنمائية وتسريح بعض العمالة وركود اقتصادي واضح أدى إلى انخفاض أسعار العقار والإيجارات، و تؤكد معظم المؤسسات التجارية ذلك، ولكن بعد ثلاث سنوات من مرور الأزمة بدأت الأعمال الإنشائية مجدداً في كثير من المشاريع التي كانت متوقفة.

Despite crisis' effects, Dubai had one of the largest growing economies in the region, since the fourth quarter of 2008 global crisis had begun spreading in Dubai which was considered as the only gulf emirate that was affected, the crisis halted the proceeding of many developing projects, suspended some co-workers, and it caused a clear recession that led to downward turn of prices of property and leases, besides, most of corporates assured that. However, three years after crisis passing, all postponed construction projects had started picking up where they left off.

في خضم العملية, تكوّن ترسّب في المحيط العميق مصاحباً معه صخور نارية متأصّلة وأهمها صخور جابرو التي تشكّلت نتيجة حراك براكين المحيط. و في نفس الوقت تقريباً, تكوّنت فوق الصفيحة القارية العديد من ترسّبات المحيط نتيجة لانتهاك بحر تيثيس حيّز البرّ. ومن الممكن أن تكون الأحجار النارية قد تشكلت جنباً إلى جنب مع الصخور البركانية في العصر البرمي على الحدّ الجنوبي الغربي من حافة الصفيحة كما شوهدت في شمال سيح حطاط.
