Luciane has always had a passion for languages. After much studying, when she was in college at Universidade de São Paulo (USP), she decided to go abroad and she has lived in Boston for 1 year and a half where she had the opportunity to take some courses at Harvard University and acquire cultural knowledge. She has also taken an intensive Italian course in Rimini - Italy, to be able to enhance the language and live the culture, history and literature she has studied for so long in University.
Author of the cultural book "Lendas de Itapetininga e Região" launched in March 2014, she is also engaged in encouraging children from her hometown be passionate about reading providing them with more than 100 legends told by local people she and her partner Maria Nunes da Costa Menk registered in the book and also telling stories in schools and events they organize in town.
Working as a Translator since 2007 and Conference Interpreter since 2011 for several companies, she actively searches for excellence in every aspect of her work. She has a degree in Languages - Portuguese/Italian - from Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and in Translation and Interpretation - English/Portuguese - from Associação Alumni. Besides, she has a graduate degree in Conference Interpreting from Universidade Gama Filho (UGF)/Estácio.
Additionally, she has attended nearly every course and conference related to the world of Translation and Interpretation and has been organizing events for her colleagues in the translation/interpretation field as well, always dedicated and engaged in everything she does to perform an excellent job.
