I currently work as an HR Director in London's financial services sector, having previously practised for 7 years as an employment lawyer in Melbourne, Australia.
I have a pan-EMEA remit in my current role with a particular emphasis on France, regularly using, translating and advising on French contracts, judgments and other documents. In my legal practice I regularly advised French multi-nationals based in Australia.
I hold degrees in French, Linguistics, Professional Writing and Law and spent two years of my studies in France. On completion of my French and Linguistics degrees and prior to commencing my legal career, I lectured to undergraduate students at a top tier Australian university for two years.
I am additionally a freelance writer and reviewer specialising in film, television, pop culture and travel.
