I was born in Finland, moved to Sweden when I was 5 years old. Since then I have been living in a Finnish/Swedish/English environment in Sweden.

After finishing elementary school I started working as a dressmaker. 3 years later I went back to school and got an education as correspondent/secretary.

Thereafter I have worked in various positions as secretary, receptionist, office clerk, sales- and marketing assistant, financial assistant, to name a few (fields: telecommunication, electronics, steel, medical equipment, patent, hotel).

1992 I had a child and decided to do something else with my life. I went to studie again and got a University Diploma in Laws at Stockholm University and 2002 I started working as self-employed freelance translator, proof-reader, quality controller and transcriber. I love working like this and have enjoyed it full time.

Now I have common knowledge and many years of translating experience in many different subject areas as: i.e. Law, Movies, Industrial equipment manuals, Tools, Electrical tools manuals, Computer - Hardware and Software manuals, IT, Business/Commerce, Medicine/medical equipment/instrument manuals and reports, Linguistics, Banking, Finance, Food, Medicine, Agriculture, Etc. and

Transcribing experience: i.e. Patent applications, Technique, Medicine, Chemistry, Board meetings, Etc.
