I have been working as translator and consecutive interpreter for the last 15 years. I worked for the Canadian Consulate in São Paulo at trade shows, interviews for immigrants, businessmen visiting Brazil. I traveled to New York as interpreter for doctors who wanted to buy a home-care franchise. Also, I traveled to Turkey with a businessman who wanted to buy a copper electrolytic refining facility
I passed a qualifying exam and became a Public Certified Translator for the State of São Paulo, Brazil. I have translated three books into Portuguese ("A Câmera", by Ansell Adams and "O Novo Manual de Fotografia", by John Hedgecoe, the latter with Assef Kfouri as co-translator, both for Editora SENAC and "Ioga a seu alcance" by Louise Grime for Editora Marco Zero). |
