Source text - Italian Dal punto di vista economico-aziendale, la stipulazione delle polizze in oggetto comporta, in capo alla società contraente, l’insorgenza del diritto di essere indennizzata nel momento in cui dovesse verificarsi l’evento assicurato.
In considerazione del fatto che la copertura assicurativa è stipulata esclusivamente per rispondere ad un’esigenza dalla società contraente e che l’eventuale indennizzo costituisce una sopravvenienza attiva imponibile nell’esercizio in cui si verifica l’evento assicurato, si ritiene che il costo sia inerente ad attività da cui (sia direttamente che indirettamente) derivano proventi fiscalmente rilevanti.
Translation - English From the economic-business point of view, the stipulation of the aforementioned policies grants the right to compensation to the policyholder at the time that the insured event occurs.
Since the insurance coverage expressly responds to policyholder’s needs, and since the eventual benefit is an extraordinary revenue taxable in the year in which the insured event occurs, we consider that the cost is inherent to activities that create (directly or indirectly) yields relevant from a tax standpoint.
