From a survey report describing a water treatment plant:
"Aura" normally has the meaning of aura or gentle breeze. I can't see that either of these fits here (although the latter may possibly fir, but it seems very strange).
Can anyone come up with any suggestions please.
TIA

some kind of overflow channel (or rim)
Just a wild guess - maybe they call it an 'aura' because it's some kind of circular rim or channel that catches any water that overflows from the main tank (like an aura surrounding a person etc.). Could that be possible?

I meant to add - this \'aura\' might possibly surround the tank - like an aura surrounding a person. Does that make any sense?!

Or maybe an overflow \'ring\' rather than a channel???

area/zone
