I would translate it as follows, but it does not make any sense to me:
The state of bankruptcy shall terminate five (5) days after the issuance date of the judicial decision declaring the bankruptcy,...
Why is the state of bankruptcy terminated if it has just been declared by the court five days earlier??? Or does "estado de quiebra" refer to a document ("bankruptcy statement" or something like that)?

Substitute "5 years" for "5 days", and I think your xlation is OK.
It's not that the bankrupt party will emerge from bankruptcy after 5 years (who knows how long that will take, or even if it will happen at all), but rather that 5 years after the date on which the state of bankruptcy was legally declared, said declaration will expire or be rendered null and void.
