Letter from Research Ethics Committee
Hello,
I'm translating a letter from a Research Ethics Committee to the Principle Investigator. Under the paragraph for sending supporting documentation to the Committee for the opening of a new Healthcare Service Provider I've come across "Copia de Certificado de Cumplimiento Habilitación - Secretaria Distrital de Salud".
I've seen entries on here separately for both "Certificado de Cumplimiento" and "Certificado de Habilitación" but not for the phrase I'm enquiring about. Would anyone know how best to translate this?
Many thanks in advance,
Salma

NHS Provider Licence
As we have a very different system in the UK, it is rather difficult to accurately translate this. However, the current UK legislation system requires any potential Healthcare Service Provider (HSP) to firstly obtain an NHS Provider Licence (or approval from the NHS to open [pharmaceutical] premises). Before they open, the potential HSP must undergo a satisfactory inspection by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), the pharmacy regulatory body for Great Britain.
NOTE: The NHS Provider Licence is the UK equivalent of the document apparently described in the saludcapital.gov information (link below).
I have confirmed the above information with an NHS Contract Manager with responsibility for pharmaceutical and optometric contracts. She has advised that this particular approach is for pharmaceuticals only and other HSP bodies would require different approaches and processes.

Note from asker:
In the end I went with the English translation for “certificación de cumplimiento de las condiciones de habilitación” |

: As you say, because of different systems, this might be suitable as an explanation of the translation, but not as the translation itself. Saludos.
