Spanish term

ratificar querella

Spanish to English Social Sciences Government / Politics Mexico
For formular acusación I'm using to file/press charges or to prosecute, abut is there a standard translations for "ratificar querellas"? TIA!

Note from asker:
My first thought was "Why didn't I just think of that!" But did you notice that the private party is the person who ratifies the complaint in Argentina? In any case, I think this works. Thanks for hanging in here with me! (Got any aspirin?)

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Again, Carol, thanks for the help! I like Henry's answer, too, but I don't think the average reader is going to understand "acknowledging before the court" but ratifying sounds like the prosecutor is sending the complaint forward (or in this case, didn't!). "
