Spanish term

vacío de res

Spanish to English Other Cooking / Culinary Gastronomy
This appears in the following text from an Argentine web site (see URL below):

flank or flank steak

I've usually seen vacío translated as flank or flank steak.

ie:

flap (or flank) beef steak

"res" = beef
"vacío" = it's a typical Argentinean cut of the meat. You can leave it like "vacío", or you can say "flap steak", as I have seen it in a menu of an typical Argentinean Restaurant.
Did you translate "falda"? Then you would have to translate "vacío" too.
I hope I could help you.
