Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering Seismic-resistant buildings

Hi, I would really appreciate your help.

I can't seem to understand what the text is trying to convey. Teaching or taught makes no sense at all. Anyone have an idea what it could mean? Take into consideration: the text is abominal, it could be a typo (wouldn't be the first one or hundred), it is Latin American Spanish and maybe its a specific word/expression I'm not aware of, and last but not least, I'm loosing it and could have missed the whole plot.

Context:
"Los efectos desfavorables de paredes enmarcadas por las vigas y columnas de los sistemas estructurales Tipos I y II, deben incorporarse tanto en el análisis mediante la reducción de R a un 75%, como en enseño."
