Spanish term

disposicion por el prestatario

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general)
Re: PRESTAMO HIPOTECARIO

Entidad prestamista = lending institution
Parte prestataria = Borrower

Tercera.- INTERESES ORDINARIOS.
El principal del préstamo devengara diariamente intereses en favor de XXX desde el momento de su disposicion por el prestatario y hasta el momento de su total y completa devolucion a la entidad prestamista.

Does this mean 'USE BY THE BORROWER'?

I would call Entidad prestamista simply 'lender'.

I have seen the term 'utilization' used in this context but I prefer 'drawdown'.

neutral FVS (X) : Disposicion has a very specific meaning in loan agreements. It always means when the funds are actually taken. The word for availibility is disponibilidid in this context.

OK boss ;@) just seemed to fit in the context but I know that you know your onions in this field. And of course you're right "disponibilidad" is availability in this and almost any context. But shouldn't yours read "drawNdown...." ?? surely the passive
neutral Andy Watkinson : Hi. Not the passive because it's not a verb. It's a noun, i.e. "a drawdown"
