agree Angela Greenfield : да, я согласна с тем, что это не обязательно быть шокированным, но все же в деловой переписке я лично бы использовала appalled. Мне очень понравилась ваша ссылка выше и можно сказать: we are deeply concerned, что имеет ту же коннотацию в деловой лексике
