De nada, Luciano :)
Nem essa versão eu conhecia, mas está bem representada na Internet. Muito obrigado!

A expressão é mais conhecida por "a palavra convence, o exemplo arrasta". Ainda assim, não é dos idiomatismos mais populares.
Hi, love to know if there's an English equivalent for this beautiful Portuguese expression - Não me consta que seja um provérbio conhecido. Eu nunca tinha ouvido e na Internet há apenas uma ocorrência, mesmo suprimindo alguns elementos: https://www.google.com.br/#q="palavra é * ouro, mas * exempl... O que foi sugerido como tradução sim é de conhecimento geral.

Can you walk the walk?/ Talk is cheap/

Duas alternativas mais informais. "You can talk the talk, can you walk the walk?" É bastante comum en inglês, com uns 560,000 resultados Google. Outra versão, menos comum: "You can talk the talk, can you walk the talk?" Eu acho que é dos últimos 20 anos, aproximadamente. "Talk is cheap" é mais velho/estabelecido.
I completely agree, the Portuguese expression is lovely. (In Spanish we have a nice expression: "de la boca para fuera".)

Thank you, Pablo. I think in the context of the text I am translating, both of these are a little too business-y, if you know what I mean. So I think "Actions speak louder than words" works better in the philosophical context of the text I am working on. Thank you so much for your help!
