the best image in the world

Could they be talking about the company's image?

It really is tricky without further context.

agree andrescardoso : Sounds like a good solution.

As I understood the meaning of the expression in your sentence is figurative.

I think "mirror" is being used metaphorically in the context.
Note from asker:
Yes, this is what I suspected. It just seems an unusual use of the word "espelho"... I was wondering if anyone would come up with a better explanation, but maybe this is it.
Peer comment(s):

agree andrescardoso : It could be 'mirror' meaning role model similarly to: 'Espelhe-se em boas ações!'

the best product in the world

As per me, company should only talk about its product. They just want to achieve the high quality standards. In order to do so, they have to motivate their workers.

the best mirror in the world

Qual é o problema de uma tradução literal?

Maybe what the text means is 'a mirror to the world' and 'the best mirror in the world' at the same time. It's a play on words.
Note from asker:
The only problem is in knowing what this might mean! I don't understand it.
Peer comment(s):

agree Diana Coada (X) : I think they're saying they're producing the highest quality mirror in the world, and that is part of their customer service.

the best image or excellence

Ao rever a frase enteira, achou que a expresão

" the best image" or "excellence"

encaixa melhor no texto.

As the answerer said, we have only the answer of the survey. Portuguese from Brazil and Portuguese from Portugal are different. For that, reason I translated the phrase in general meaning. May be, the worker refers to the excellence in service and/or to give a good image of the factory.
