Przywołany autor rozumie współzależność jako „rodzaj relacji międzyludzkich, który polega na odczytywaniu, konfrontowaniu i uzgadnianiu interesów jednostki z oczekiwaniami innych ludzi”

Napisałam w taki sposób:
The author understands interdependence as “a kind of human relationships which consist in interpreting, confronting and agreeing on interests of an individual with expectations of other people”.

Może zamiast "with" powinno być coś innego.

;-) Mnie też ostatnio się to przydarza za często. Na moim egzaminie pisemnym końcowym ze studiów pominąłem dwa najłatwiejsze pytania, gdyż, w stresie i przemęczeniu, mój mózg widział to, co chciał. ;-) Zabrałem się więc za dwa najgorsze gwoździe i niepotrzebnie łamałem sobie nad nimi głowę, aby 20 minut przed końcem doznać olśnienia...Zdałem i tak, ale mogłem sobie ułatwić zadanie...

consist in ok - przyznaję, że niezbyt dokładnie przeczytałam to za pierwszym razem, bo przy takich tekstach uwaga mi się samoczynnie wyłącza. Tu rzeczywiście jest "polega na", napisane jak wół :)

@allp Ja to wiem...;-), ale nie ma to jak "filozofowanie". Mój profesor twierdził, ze koło jest w rzeczywistości kwadratowe. I nikt mu nie podskakiwał, bo miał głowę jak sklep...Ja nawet nie próbuję dyskutować z takimi filozofami, bo odbieramy i nadajemy na innych falach. Zapytalem kto to rzekł, gdyż lingwistyka to, powiedzmy, moje weekendowe hobby ;-).

The fact is that no two words (even seemingly semantically identical) have the same meaning. Otherwise, they would not exist side by side. But who said, "nie ma czegoś takiego jak synonim"?. I guess one can question everything in the world if they have enough solid evidence. Well, I'm not a theoretical linguist :-(

Usłyszałam to kiedyś na studiach, choć w angielskim jest mnóstwo słów o bardzo zbliżonym znaczeniu
