Japanese term

やれる

Japanese to English Other Manufacturing QC Circle
前の質問と同じ文脈です。
こちらのスローガンは、ちょっとへんてこりんなんですけど・・・
「我ら50代、まだまだやれるぞ!」というものです。

still got it

or "still got what it takes".... With the "it" in the first case being the ability to do things, i.e. take on new challenges, handle responsibilities, do a good job. "We fifty-somethings have still got what it takes!" / "We fifty-somethings have still got it!"

Can do

やる=>(可能形の変更によって)やれる

The above sentence: "We 50-somethings Can Still Do It!"
Peer comment(s):

agree casey : Good, I was also thinking about adding "may be old, but we can..." to make it a bit more clear. //Yep!

I like that idea. So: "We 50-somethings may be old, but we can still do it!"
