Can you please get a moderator to fix this glossary entry? Conto economico is NOT a balance sheet. You went against the opinion of 6 native speakers, at least 2 of whom work in the field! The glossary is designed to help other translators in the future.

Balance Sheet / P&L / Profit and Loss Account

Se invece hai bisogno proprio del Bilancio: Financial Statement.

Marc, you are right, the Balance Sheet (BS) is actually the whole financial statement, but I put it just in case she didn't mean only the P&L.

From: http://www.bizhelp24.com/accounting/the-profit-loss-account....
" The Balance Sheet is a snap shot in time of a company's overall worth. The Profit & Loss Account (P&L) is a report of the company's profit on the sale of their goods or the provision of their service over a trading period, normally one year."

agree Marc Vitale : I agree with profit and loss account (known in the US as the "income statement") but "balance sheet" is not the same thing.

Thank you!
neutral Grey Drane (X) : Just wanted to clarify that "balance sheet" is not "the whole financial statement", i.e. it's NOT the translation of "bilancio", but of "stato patrimoniale"

Yes, sorry it was a mistake, I meant that in case she didn't mean only the P&L there's ALSO the BS.
neutral Peter Cox : agree with Grey's comments plus financial statements always plural
