Still not enough context Precisely Paul. As I said to Michele, "The text you have given is still ambiguous", which is why I gave two different answers with two different meanings. Don't no if it is "pagamento del 22% (agevolato)" or "agevolazione del 22% sul pagamento". Maybe a native Italian speaker might be able to disambiguate.

On Jim's answer There's a semantic difference, in my view, between "Concession on payment of 22%" and "22% concession on payment". The former means you are given a concession on payment of 22%, while the latter means you are given a 22% concession when you pay.

payment vs repayment of debts. "payment of debts" gets over 300,000 google hits and "repayment of debts "just" 92,000, though with this i'm not suggesting you are wrong. at any rate, that wasn't my point. i was merely observing that your proposed answer "non trova riscontro" (though mine doesn't get taht many Ghits either).

PAYMENT vs REPAYMENT Please note the difference between "payment" and "repayment"; payment is when an amount is due - repayment is the term used for loans, mortgages and other debt repayment.

Michele you must give full context ;-). The text you have given is still ambiguous. I suppose we are talking about payments of INPS or similar.

On balance I would plump for my first answer a) because of the "accantamento" suggesting that it is a 22% payment and not a "22% agevolazione" and b) because there are no commas in the Italian "pagamento, agevolato del 22%, ..."

Yes, the words given don't really constitute a technical term (which was why it wouldn't Google for you) just part of a sentence, but of course Michele wasn't to know that. Google is just one (mighty powerful ) means to an end.
