Perhaps a bit more appropriate.

"Pallone" tend to be round-bottomed reaction flasks used in organic chemistry. They may have a number of necks for fitting dropping funnels, stirrers, thermometers etc.

Considering that the process you mention involves the samples being subjected to rotary evaporation, I'm sure the flasks will be round-bottomed - greater surface area for drying.
