German term

Einschlag-beutel

German to English Tech/Engineering Retail Packaging
Paprika gelb geputzt
10 kg im Einschlag-beutel From a schedule of standards for supplying vegetables to a food processing company.
I am not sure whether the "Einschlag" just means wrapped or refers to the type of bag. Any insights warmly welcome especially from native speakers.

The packaging plant is used for wrapping items in foil or filling foil bags with material. A flattened tube of foil (2) is pulled from a roll (4) and passes over a conveyor belt (6) to a transverse welding station which welds the foil to itself at intervals to form a succession of bags. The bags pass between upper and lower vacuum bands which suck the bags open. They are opened at one side so that pushers (18) can force materials into the open bags (16). The filled bags then pass into a welding station (22,24). The finished bags (28) are conveyed away on a conveyor belt.
