This describes wooden ceiling beams:
Elementverbindung durch Doppelung und Doppelfeder, untere Seite gefast.

The Doppelfeder is a double tongue, so does that make the Doppelung a double groove?

The client has confirmed to me that they whole phrase does indeed mean "double tongue and groove".

Lamination is not the word in this context - we are talking about how neighbouring floor/ceiling beams are joined together, not about how the individual beams are constructed.
