How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

"The German "Familienleistungsausgleich" ("Compensation for the achievements of the family") has a dual character (meaning that either a lump-sum transfer or a tax deduction is granted for a child) and is actually dominated by the child transfer (which is lump-sum). The provisions can be found in tax law: Either a tax allowance or the transfer is granted whichever is more
favorable for the family. France also grants lump-sum payments but disposes of a sophisticated mixture of conditional allowances and grants (for example for in-house day care provided by nannies).
