Not sure how to translate "wobei" in this context:
Im anschliessenden Debriefing bei Glühwein wurden klar die Stärken und Schwächen des Nachmittags aufgedeckt, wobei das Ziel erreicht wurde – denn das Resultat zählt.

Of course, you could say, \"..., with the goal having been achieved\" or something like that, but it\'s not necessary here: \"..., and the goal ....\"

sommerfeld (X)
: wobei in technical translations should be translated as wherein. Whereby is the English equivalent of 'wodurch'.

while anyway
I agree that the meaning is not absolutely clear, because the aim might here allude to the bridge (most probable), or to the debriefing (seems to be some teaching/learning experience in the whole? nonetheless less probable). But in case you had any doubts, wobei surely does NOT refer to the Nachmittag (grammatically impossible).

Rebekka Groß (X)
: wobei actually refers to the debriefing during which the strengths and weaknesses of whatever somebody being debriefed about became obvious. As a resultthe objective of the debriefing was achieved.

You have no way to be certain; things would be different when we would come to hear more about the result.

: Sure. Sparkie is wrong. If "Ziel" and "wobei" were to refer to ANYTHING else (e.g. the debriefing) than the construction of the bridge, the phrase that follows ("nur das Resultat zählt") would make no sense at all.
