compression gap
This what Demag, a leading German manufacturer of plastics processing machines, calls it.
Plenty of confirming googlies for "compresion gap" + injection.
For German, see

Its on page 8 "Maschinentechnik"

Your terms refer to injection-compression moulding, as distinct from simple injection molding. The molten material seems to have a higher viscosity in this procedure, as the molten mass is injected (it seems) not through a 'sprue' but through a slight opening of the mold.

Following is helpful, refers again to the mold being "slightly open"

compression nip
I am basing this suggestion on entries in the Dictionary of Plastics & Rubber Technlogy by M.S. Welling, a dictionary I have always found extremely useful and generally reliable.
Prägen - 1. embossing. 2. compression (if the word is used to describe the second stage of Spritzprägen)
Spritzprägen - injection-compression moulding
Prägespalt - embossing nip
