Would anyone be able to help me understand the term Gasmessensorik? I realise it has something to do with measuring gas but am confused by the last bit of the word. I am unable to find anything to help me. A couple of websites mention it but I wasn't able to work it out from their context. The paragraph before it talks about gas warning systems.

The full sentence is: Hierbei ist auch die vorhandene Art der Gasmesssensorik mitzuteilen.
