I am translating a marketing text for german carmaker and the word fahrverhalten is giving me headaches. Whylidal cites handling, handling characteristics, handling performance and vehicle handling. Bosch only gives driveability for Fahrverhalten and Fahrzeugführung for handling. I was wondering if I'm right in assuming that handling is the general term and driveability refers more specifically to engine performance.

Comment: "Thanks Harmann, hits the nail on the head I think. As to the difference between driveability and handling... my customer wants me to use driveability (instead of handling) but this seems too specific to me. However am lost for a definition of driveability. Any ideas?"
