The subject is a palletiser ( mounted on a machining centre). The palletiser serves in loading/un-loading a part onto the machining center. Under the heading Caractéristiques" is this phrase - "précision avec codeur sur vis" +/- 20'' Thank you |

or maybe, code marks. like a regulator of sorts going from one end to the next and the maxima marked as +/- 20, etched on the instrument or on the base on which the vis is situated.
