I'm not sure what "en cloche" refers to here. Any ideas?

agree writeaway : ok. the ref I found also shows you may well be right. But it's your responsibility to provide valid refs for your answer(s). If you are so sure of an answer, then providing a ref shouldn't pose a problem. don't like"for me to know and for you to find out"

neutral Tony M : As a statistical distribution, that would be logical; but doesn't seem to fit here, where 'cloche' sounds like some physical piece of avicultural equipment. There are sort of bell-shaped cages where individual chickens are kept (don't know why...)

neutral Nikki Scott-Despaigne : I'd immediately thought of Gauss, but when I came to the question and the context posted, then this seems to have nothing at all to do with stats. If we get some context indicating this is a "courbe de mortalité en cloche", then we can be sure it is sure!
