From an assessor's report on a fire claim for a factory. There are two occurrences. The first is in relation to a transformer damaged by the fire:
DOMMAGES ELECTRIQUES
Transformateur à huile de 1.250 KVA (poste de livraison)
Remplacement du transfomateur suite à dommage électrique interne consecutive aux effets de l’incendie
The second is in the context of repair to the building:
- Fourniture et pose d'un bardage provisoire sur
structure métallique pour local TGBT et poste
de livraison EDF

Here, one needs to consider 'poste' as being short for 'post de transformation' = substation
Clearly, this is a big industrial (etc.) customer who will be supplied at high voltage and have their own on-site transformer to provide a 'normal' mains voltage supply.
Here's just one of quite a few relevant Googles to illustrate the idea:

NB: I have just come across this term used in a document about PV installations, where it refers to the outgoing delivery substation! So care should be taken to use the term correctly in context!
