The photo shows a concrete pillar which supports wooden decking.

I am considering "rod" for the translation, although it is not visible in the first photograph. Any suggestions would help!

If you are referring specifically the rod, you could say post bracket/anchor rod or bolt.

: I would agree with "post bracket". To me, "post anchor" conjures up an image of the metal piece that the post fits into to anchor it to the ground (kind of like a square cup and saucer on the ground that the post is plugged into).
