HPLC en phase inverse
Hello,
"L'HPLC en phase inverse est réalisée sur une chaîne Alliance Watters 1690 Separations Module. L'échantillon préalablemen acidifié avec 0.1% d'acide trifluoroacétique (TFA) est chargé sur une colonne analytique Vydac ...."
there is another thread for this term, with "system" as the selected translation, would this be ok here?
Thank you.

Alliance Waters 1690 Separations Module
The word "chaine" is not necessary. This is a commercial HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) instrument and one would refer to it by its name.

system
Hi, I answered this question recently with system. That might be the one you are referring too. Yes, what the French call a "chain" of chromatography equipment is called a system routinely.

Thank you Karen :) |

I don't know if you had found this one though Louisa. By the way, when you post, in the context part, it's usually a good idea so indicte what your own searches have produced. It avoids those helping repeating research that you have probably already done.
