Removed Items Sold

I believe they are referring to the grocery items that are no longer on the shelves (removed)but that were sold during the period. That's why you get two adjectives.....:)

removed meaning no longer put out for sale or put on the shelves foir sale

It\'s like Discontinued in a clothing store. Maybe Discontinued could be used here to.

I assumed there was a typo as there often is. You can only work with what is given, right?
