The source seems highly dubious to me You don't explore doors -- that makes no sense, although as already said it's pretty clear what the writer meant by it. They're confusing opening doors and exploring roles/techniques etc.

"Doors" is slightly unusual in this context but the image is easily enough understood by a native speaker of English. There shouldn't be an "s" on "news" though, that's presumably a typo.

The source is good actually, They said "couple of certain sexual doors. Yes. It seems a bit weird, they could say "trying new stuff".

Are you translating from a transcription? Something is not right with the source text in this and in your last question. This one should probably say “new sexual roles” but even that is not very accurate. Are you sure about the source?
