English term
floating
English
Other
Automotive / Cars & Trucks
I’m translating words and phrases that are displayed on the user interface of an automatic truck park/truck wash access control system. Some of the phrases are very easy, while others are hard for me understand in this specific context. In this print screen: https://i.postimg.cc/Nfxcfmh9/floating.jpg I find the word ‘’floating’’ difficult.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Discussion
It briefly crossed my mind it might be something to do with a float but I didn't see how that fitted the Automotive / Cars & Trucks heading. I've never seen it as "floating the till" before in my days as a waiter (but see there are Ghits for it) but as having a float (noun) for the till or putting a float in the till. Note bartenders, waiters etc. usually get "a float" from their manager at the start of their shift as well so they can give change to customers. And they give it back at the end.
Related term: the "float" - the small change put in the till before opening the shop.
Hardly something that "users of automatic truck park/truck wash access control system" should be concerned about.
Thank you all for your help.
