The present invention is based on the finding that using a convolutional neural network directly on the entire image which originates from the optical sensor significantly improves the quality and the speed of the recognition of a license plate of the vehicle.

Söz konusu araç plakalarının analizi olduğu için "tanımlama" yerine plaka tanıma sistemlerinde olduğu gibi "tanıma" ifadesini daha doğru buldum.
Elektronik bir çalışma olması nedeniyle "sistem"i tercih ettim. Metnin diline göre alternatif olarak "ülke tanıma şubesi" de tercih edilebilir.
