This structure is based on the direction of twist, and the horns are called homonymous. These horns exhibit a right-hand spiral twist in the horn on the right side of the animal's head and a left-turning spiral of the horn on the left side of the animal's head. This homonymous formation is found in the horns of all domesticated animals, but not in any wild animals of the same or similar species.
