English term

coalescer

English to Spanish Tech/Engineering Textiles / Clothing / Fashion textiles
I've come across the term coalescer in a technical translation. I even have a definition in English of the term (see below), but I can't find a suitable Spanish equivalent. Have you ever seen it??
Thank you!

Coalescer -- a separator that divides a mixture or emulsion of two immiscible liquids using the interfacial tension between the two liquids and the difference in wetting of the two liquids on a particular porous medium

I seem to have misunderstood the \'fases\' here. The correct translation would appear to be \'separador coalescente\'

coglutinador

Aglutinador

That's the definition shown in Beigbeder Atienza dict. But I feel the used term might be "filtro coalescente" if "coalescer = coalescing filter".
I would like my peers to agree or disagree with that in order to see if I am wrong. Good luck.
