English term

through-flow

English to Spanish Tech/Engineering Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.) ceramic plumbing fixtures
This part is not clear for me and it was taken from a ceramic standard. They are explaining the term Flush tank :

A vessel that stores a predetermined quantity of water and includes a flushing device to discharge water (plus some through-flow from the water supply line) into a water closet bowl or urinal

My doubt is about the translation of through-flow

Thanks in advance,

Thanks Gene. Now I think, through-flow is related to the fill valve which is inside of the water closet tank.

caudal, paso
podría ser una solución
Gene Selkov Jul 17, 2010:
The possibilites are:

1. The discharge has been mentioned, but the inflow has not been. So it may be a regulator.
2. It may be an overflow tube
3. It may be a metered flow valve that delivers a constant flow of water throguh the bowl (as in a urinal)

flujo pasante

...incluye un dispositivo de enjuague para descargar el agua (además de un flujo pasante proveniente de la línea de suministro de agua)...
Mi sugerencia.
