Why would "c�rculo de proveedores" seem unnatural? You have a "circle of friends", why not a "circle of providers"? Do you see the connection and the intimacy the term is trying to convey?

I understand that "red" is a great word-it is the ideal word. Unfortunately, some of the people who are going to read this document do not feel very comfortable with this word because of its implications of being trapped. They asked for a different word and that is what I am trying to provide them. I can't omit the word because obviously it is a very integral part of the context.

I don't think it is set in stone but it sounds "natural"... There are other options as "c�rculo" or "conjunto" or even "el universo de proveedores", pero suena rebuscado. Una sugerencia, (cuando algo estorba) elim�nalo y d�jalo en "los proveedores" �? ;)

I think "red" is just a great word, like "web". But you couldn't use "madeja" in Spanish, nor some equivalent to "swarm" ;) I think "red" just defines -even as a metaphor- very accurately a form of structure.

I guess what I am asking is, Would be a problem with using "circulo de proveedores" when talking about insurance plans. I am not saying "red de proveedores" is wrong, I am just asking if there are other options.
