Mi na servisni platformi za body shell uporabljamo kar karoserija, ker imaš potem besedne zveze za različne dele - body shell side, body shell upper side, lower side.
"Body" se uporablja samo kjer ni nevarnosti, da se pomeša z "bodyji" ostalih delov, raznih ohišij in ogrodij. Sicer pa res gre za večinski del karoserije, ki je viden navzven (in lakiran), brez "body bed", torej dna.
